Our firm's funds are protected by deposit insurance
Client funds that have not been disbursed are kept in segregated checking accounts. A separate account is used to keep our customers' money separate from the firm's money.
This is done for a few reasons, including to create a clear separation between the two groups of money, so neither is used for the wrong purpose, and ensuring that the money can be easily identified as belonging to clients.
Funds deposited to the corporate bank account of the company doing business as Payment21® have deposit insurance. The deposit protection of Swiss Banks guarantees up to CHF 100,000. Funds held by Payment21® in bank accounts in EU countries have a deposit guarantee insurance of at least €100,000.
